Online Reporting

The Cedar Hill Police Department has implemented an online reporting tool for citizens to make certain types of police reports.  This is not a replacement for 911 and citizens are encouraged to call 911 for crimes in progress or other emergency situations.  

The following types of incidents may be reported online: 

  • Burglary of Motor Vehicle 
  • Criminal Mischief 
  • Theft 
  • Credit Card Abuse 
  • Annoying or Harassing Phone Calls 
  • Hit and Run Accident with No Injuries 
  • Lost Property 
  • Request for Traffic Enforcement 

Reports made online will be assigned for follow up within 3 business days.

The Cedar Hill Police Department is committed to providing the highest quality service possible to make our community a better, safer place to live. The 71 sworn police officers and 23 civilian employees are here to serve you and will attempt to respond to any inquiries you may have.
