Community Service Officers
We recognize that not every request requires the response of an actual police officer. To assist in providing the best customer service, as quickly as possible, the patrol division utilizes non-sworn personnel called, Community Service Officers, to assist in handling certain non-emergency calls. The community service officers take reports, assist with crime scenes, and assist in handling quality of life issues like city ordinance violations.
