Residential Water Service

1. To order a new or to transfer existing residential water, sewer and trash utility services in Cedar Hill please complete the below application. In the application, you are required to upload the required documents below in section 2. The deposit charge for a new residential account is $90 due at the time of submission. After the application is submitted, both Utility Services and the new customer will automatically receive a confirmation email.

2. Upload the appropriate supporting documents in the service application: 

a. If you own the property where the service is being started, we will need a copy of proof of ownership such as the deed of trust along with a valid identification.

b. If you are renting the property where the service is being started, we will need a copy of the signed lease agreement, valid identification, and Single Family Rental Registration Form in order to process your application. For more information on Single Family Rental Registration.

c. If you are setting up service in person, you may pay your $90 deposit via check, cash, or credit using the payment kiosk. If you are setting up service online, a customer service representative will contact you in 1 to 3 days to take the payment over the phone. 

Water service will not be connected until all required documentation and deposit is collected.

Acceptable forms of identification include a valid US driver's license, US passport, or Military ID.

3. Need to make changes to an existing account? Please complete the Update Existing Account Information Form. After the form is submitted, Utility Services will receive notification.
