The City of Cedar Hill Drought Contingency Plan

(Water Conservation Ordinance Number 2008-370 (PDF)) requires that no outdoor watering take place from May 1 - September 30, between the hours of 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., any day of the week.

Stage 2 Restrictions

If Stage 2 Restrictions are activated, watering days will be based on your address.

  • Even addresses water on Tuesday and Friday between the hours of 6 p.m. - 10 a.m.
  • Odd addresses water on Monday and Thursday between the hours of 6 p.m. - 10 a.m.

Stage 3 Restrictions

No outdoor watering will be allowed if Stage 3 Restrictions are activated.

(Please see the Drought Response Stages page for exceptions.) Staggered fines will be imposed for violations.

First Offense . . . . . . Up to $200

Second Offense . . . . Up to $400

Third Offense . . . . . . Up to $600

Fourth Offense . . . . . Up to $2,000

Every day that a violation continues shall constitute a separate offense.
