Cedar Hill is proud to be a Veteran-Friendly Community. We are committed to honoring service members, supporting veterans and their families, and connecting them with local and regional resources. 

Purple Heart City – The City of Cedar Hill is proud to be officially designated a Purple Heart City, joining approximately 150 communities across Texas in honoring the bravery and sacrifice of our nation’s Purple Heart recipients. This recognition symbolizes Cedar Hill’s commitment to acknowledging those wounded or killed in combat while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces and reflects our community’s deep gratitude and ongoing support for veterans and their families. Awarded Fall of 2025.
