Planning & Zoning Commission

The Planning & Zoning Commission acts in an advisory role, rendering recommendations to the City Council regarding City Planning studies, Site Plans for new buildings or conversions, plats, zoning amendments and other development applications. Periodically, the Commission may also perform special surveys and/or studies on land use and zoning related matters. The Planning & Zoning Commission is comprised of a 7 member volunteer board appointed by the City Council to serve 2 year terms.

Meeting Dates & Times

The Planning & Zoning Commission typically meets the first & third Tuesdays of each month, at 6:00 p.m., in the Turk Cannady/Cedar Hill Room. Agendas are posted at the Government Center, 285 Uptown Boulevard Building 100, at least 72 hours prior to all meetings.
