Councilmember Haydin was elected to the Cedar Hill City Council in 2000. He currently serves in Place 2 on the Council. Haydin resides at 1521 Kari Ann, Cedar Hill, TX 75104.
Haydin has been an insurance broker/consultant since 1978 and owns Haydin Insurance Group. He is married to Darla Haydin and has two children, Amber and Heather. He and his family own and operate Split Endings, a family salon. Councilmember Haydin enjoys playing racquetball, motorcycling and water skiing when he is not working and/or serving as a Councilmember. He is a long-time member of the Cedar Hill Lion's Club.
