Cedar Hill Fire Department provides 24 hour Emergency Medical protection to the citizens of Cedar Hill. We have 3 fully equipped Mobile Intensive Care Units (MICU). There will be a minimum of 1 Paramedic and 1 Emergency Medical Technician on the ambulance at all times.

Cedar Hill Fire Department also has 3 fully stocked Paramedic Engines. These are also staffed with a minimum of 1 Paramedic and 1 Emergency Medical Technician

Paramedics and EMT's work under a doctor or group of doctors. Cedar Hill Fire Department uses Dr. Ketan (Keto) Trivedi MD for our medical control. The MICU can contact a doctor 24 hours a day for medical advice and advanced procedures.

We have monthly continuing education training hours for our Paramedics. Texas Department of State Health Service requires 144 hours every 4 years.
