Citations-General Information

Your citation is due 30 days from the date the citation was issued. (Juveniles must appear in court with a parent or guardian - you will be mailed a court date). You must notify the court either in person or in writing your intentions on your citations. Phone calls do not constitute appearance.

Failure to respond to your citation within 30 days from the date the citation was issued may result in a:

  • Warrant for your arrest and an additional $50 fee will be assessed
  • Separate charge filed for Fail to Appear or Violate Promise to Appear
  • Hold will be placed on your driver’s license and any vehicle registered in your name

In addition, you will be turned over to a collection agency and additional fees added to your case.

Please understand that by completing and submitting this form, you are selecting to enter a plea of NOT GUILTY and request a court hearing to speak directly to the prosecutor regarding your citation. Additionally, you understand that you will be required to appear an assigned hearing or trial. Once your request is received and processed, you will receive a court notice via email. Please note that if any of your information has recently changed or will change from what appears on your citation, it is your responsibility to update this information with the court.
