Premier Neighborhood Award

2018 marks the 14th year that the Neighborhood Advisory Board will recognize neighborhood organizations in the City of Cedar Hill for their work towards improving the quality of life in their communities. These awards recognize neighborhoods for:
  • Achievement in Communication
  • Organizational Activities
  • Membership
  • Community Partnerships
  • Leadership and Beautification.  

2018 1st Place Premier Award: Lake Ridge at Joe Pool Lake
2018 Runner Up: Cedar Crest 

The 1st place Premier Neighborhood Award recipient receives a check in the amount of $250 to be used for community building activities.  A runner up will be selected in both categories and awarded at $100 award.

Applying is simple!

Neighborhood Engagement is a top priority for your Mayor and City Council.  It is important that each neighborhood in our community exhibit the values established by City Council. YOUR Neighborhood Award applications will be evaluated by its ability to demonstrate City Council’s Values within the neighborhood.

Cresthaven Village

The Cresthaven Village neighborhood is located near the corner of Pleasant Run and Old Clark Road. This quiet neighborhood currently is home to 91 families with more on the horizon to be completed by 2018. The neighborhood offers a retirement community in a beautiful and gated subdivision centrally located in close proximity to shopping, businesses and church activities. 

Under the capable leadership of organization President R.C. Clack, the Board of Directors and many others, a bright future lies ahead for the distinguished Cresthaven Village neighborhood.

Hidden Lakes 

In the southeast area of the City, a short walking distance from the Cedar Hill Recreation Center and the newly constructed Red Oak Creek Trail is the vibrant Hidden Lakes neighborhood. This community is home to 101 households and has convenient access to trails, parks, churches and retail shopping. 

Residents are committed to making the community and their neighborhood a great place to live. Residents distinguished themselves in every award category with regular crime watch meetings, participation in National Night Out, progressive dinners and block parties.

Under the capable leadership of HOA President, Steven Ridge and others, a bright future lies ahead for the Hidden Lakes neighborhood.
